On February 12, Doug Shafer brings a selection of Shafer wines, including Hillside Select, to the Atlantic Room at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Renown Chef Daniel Bruce will prepare a sumptuous dinner to create an unforgettable evening of inspiring flavors and fun.

2009 Vineyards to Vintners

This year’s annual Vineyard to Vintner (V2V) event offers a decadent exploration of the sixteen winery members of the Stags Leap District Association. The V2V pass gives guests exclusive access to delicious foods and the rare and distinctive wines of Stags Leap District vintners and winemakers.
Shafer vineyards will host the seminar portion of this year’s event. Stags Leap District founders, John Shafer, Dick Steltzner of Steltzner Vineyards and Bernard Portet of Clos Du Val, will share personal stories of the appellation’s beginnings and their vision for the future. Shafer will pour a selection of wines including the new release of 2006 One Point Five Cabernet and a library vintage of Hillside Select.
